An electrical technician friend of mine showed me two interlinked cubes he had made from solid core wire soldered at the corners. It shows a ton of control with the soldering iron so I wanted to give it a try. The cube in the picture is only 5mm (~1/4") on each side. I didn't quite make the second cube but even just one is really hard, let alone a second square linked inside...turning the square into a cube would be the boss battle. Either way, had fun starting this even though I was super annoyed by the end of the couple hours. If you leave the solder tip on the part too long the whole thing collapses into a jumble and you gotta start over. Very tricky, you should try it!
